What each tool actually does
Fireflies sends its bot into your meetings, records and transcribes them, then does team-scale things with the result: syncs to Salesforce or HubSpot, tracks topics across hundreds of calls, scores reps against talk-time benchmarks, feeds manager dashboards. The buyer is usually a sales leader; the product is visibility into the team's conversations.
MeetingCoach has no bot, no dashboard for your boss, and no cloud. It listens to your live meeting on your Mac and gives you — only you — short cues in a screen-share-safe overlay while there's still time to act on them. Nobody else ever sees your calls, your stats, or your bad habits. The whole point is that improvement is easier when it's private.

Where Fireflies wins
- You run a sales team. Auto-logging calls to the CRM and seeing deal conversations at scale is genuinely valuable, and MeetingCoach doesn't do any of it.
- Compliance and record-keeping. Some orgs are required to keep call records. Fireflies is built for that world.
- Everything-platform coverage. Zoom, Meet, Teams, dial-ins, on any OS.
Where MeetingCoach wins
- The feedback loop is 60 seconds, not 6 days. Fireflies coaching means a manager reviews your call later, maybe. MeetingCoach nudges you mid-sentence, when you can still change the outcome of this call.

My honest verdict
This is the easiest verdict of all my comparison pages because the buyers are different people. If you're a sales leader instrumenting a team: Fireflies (or Gong, if budget's no object). I'm not your product.
